Join Our Reading Buddies Program! We’re excited to welcome volunteers to our Reading Buddies program—a chance to inspire a love of reading while building meaningful connections with young learners. As a Reading Buddy, you’ll spend one-on-one time with a child, helping them develop confidence, literacy skills, and a lifelong passion for books.
Whether you’re a seasoned reader or just love sharing stories, your time and encouragement can make a world of difference. Come be part of a program that grows both hearts and minds!

Reading Buddies sessions are available virtually or in-person at the new MYPI Center – 11411 Pearl St, Northglenn, CO 80233.
General info
The Reading Buddies program pairs volunteers with young learners to foster literacy, confidence, and a love of reading. Through one-on-one sessions, volunteers guide children through age-appropriate books, support reading comprehension, and engage in fun, interactive discussions that make learning enjoyable.
Sessions are available both virtually and in-person at the new MYPI Center (11411 Pearl St, Northglenn, CO 80233), providing flexibility for families and volunteers. Volunteers receive guidance and resources to help them create meaningful, supportive experiences for their Reading Buddy, while children gain consistent support that enhances reading skills and encourages a lifelong passion for learning.
This program is ideal for volunteers of all backgrounds who are enthusiastic about mentorship and making a tangible difference in a child’s academic journey. By joining Reading Buddies, you help cultivate confidence, curiosity, and a sense of accomplishment in every child you meet.
